Designers, architects and builders worldwide
consider Goodwin’s Antique River-Recovered® Heart
Pine and Heart Cypress as well as our Antique Legacy
Heart Pine® are the premier choices in hardwood
flooring and paneling.
This is no empty claim: Goodwin’s antique
river-recovered® floors have been featured in U.S.
News & World Report, Architectural Digest, Florida
Design, Southern Living Magazine, Fine Homebuilding,
Country Home, This Old House and many other national
publications.
River-recovered® antique wood does cost more than
average flooring, but that’s because it’s not
average. Because it’s original-growth and was
preserved underwater, it’s stronger, healthier and
more beautiful than other woods. Because it is rich
and rare, it also adds value over time. When
shopping, consider that it never wears out, is
easier to maintain, is recommended for those with
allergies. Best of all, it adds tremendous
character, warmth and authenticity to your most
important environment.
Flooring prices range from $5 to $30 per square
foot, depending on the wood, grade and
specifications you choose.

The supplies of this rich lumber are limited and
our production quality demands that we follow every
step in the manufacturing process. We stock some of
the most popular widths and may be able to fill your
order within one to two weeks. The standard
production schedule, however, from air-dried lumber
to finished wood flooring is four to five weeks.
